sometimes i cry when i'm all alone
sometimes i cry because i'm sad
sometimes i cry even when i'm smiling
sometimes when i'm feeling mad
sometimes i cry because i've laughed a lot
or because there are things i have to hide
sometimes i cry because i've lost all
and i try to hide tears with a smile
